About the Omega 310.32.42.50.01.002
The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 310.32.42.50.01.002 debuted in 2021 as part of the updated Moonwatch Professional generation, introducing the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861 across the core Speedmaster range while preserving the essential design and proportions associated with the historic Moonwatch.
The watch is housed in a 42 mm stainless steel asymmetrical case with a lug-to-lug measurement of 47.50 mm and a thickness of approximately 13.18 mm. Water resistance is rated to 5 bar. A black anodised aluminium bezel with tachymeter scale surrounds the dial and retains the traditional dot over 90 detail. Sapphire crystal is fitted to both the front and the caseback, providing a view of the movement.
The black step dial follows the fourth-generation Speedmaster layout and features applied hour markers and an applied Omega logo. Moonwatch-style hands are used throughout, with contrasting chronograph scales for legibility. The chronograph display consists of a small seconds sub-dial, a 30-minute recorder, and a 12-hour recorder.
Powering the watch is the manually wound Omega Calibre 3861, certified as a Co-Axial Master Chronometer by METAS. The movement operates at a frequency of 3 Hz, offers a power reserve of approximately 50 hours, and is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. It features a free-sprung balance with a silicon balance spring and rhodium-plated finishing.
The Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 310.32.42.50.01.002 is fitted with a black calf leather strap, with calf leather lining, and secured by a stainless steel foldover clasp.
